The origin of the Latin word Academia is Greek which refers to the place where Philosophy was born and, as time goes by, it stands for the place where Art is born and is taught. Maison is a French word indeed which, in the world of fashion, refers to the place where designers' collections come to life.

We would like to give voice to the new generation of fashion designers offering them the opportunity to make sketches which will become Maison Academia clothes later, thanks to the support of a Mentoring Team. This Mentoring Team is made of professional experts in both fashion and fashion business. Maison Academia makes use of a Jury too whose important representatives take care of selecting the sketches that are produced then.
